Ordering & Shipping
All orders are shipped from the Netherlands via TNT and Post NL at "Flat Rates". We also offer "Free Shipping" based on minimum purchases. To find out the cost of shipping you MUST first save items to your cart to get an exact quote.
Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding major holidays.You will be contacted by e-mail with a tracking number when your order leaves our distribution center.
Orders placed Monday through Friday (excluding major holidays) are generally shipped the next day. Orders placed during holidays will be shipped on the next business day. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship on the following Monday (excluding holidays). Once the package leaves our warehouse or fulfillment center, the customer is directly responsible to work with the courier to locate the parcel or arrange a re-delivery. Our courier usually make 3 delivery attempts for parcel deliveries. After the 3rd failed attempt at delivery, the package(s) are returned to our warehouse and we will issue a credit for your merchandise only. If you would like to have the merchandise re-delivered, you will be responsible for the re-delivery fee.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with the tracking information. Please note that the tracking information can take up to 24 hours to update after your order has been dispatched.
All orders are dispatched from the Netherlands. Your order is inclusive of sales taxes and customs within Europe. If you are shipping your order outside of Europe, as a condition of sale you acknowledge and agree that title to your order transfers to you after exportation and immediately prior to importation of such order at the border of the ship to location and assume all risk and responsibility for the import clearance, duties, and delivery to final destination. These charges must be paid upon receipt of your order. Be sure to verify the additional cost you may incur with the authorities of the country the order is being shipped to. Unfortunately, we are unable to advise on the exact amount of such charges since they are specific to each location.
We want you to be completely satisfied with our products and will gladly credit or exchange your order within 14 days after receipt of the goods. Returns and exchanges for online orders will be accepted where the product has not been worn, altered or washed and has all original tags or packaging attached. You will be responsible for shipping fees related to your exchange or returns to and from our Distribution Center (DC) unless there was an error involved on our behalf.
We offer refunds only in the form of an Etiquette Credit unless there was an error involved on our part, in which case we will refund the purchase to your original credit card or paypal account.Please note card refunds may take up to 15 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.
Your Etiquette Credit will be in the form of a personal Coupon Code which you will be able to use on your next purchase. Coupon Codes are valid for 60 days on one-time purchases only; purchases must be of equal or greater value than coupon amount and are non-transferable.
Sale merchandise, underwear, swimwear, beauty/apothecary products and books are FINAL SALE and not eligible for return or exchange. Due to the costly nature of shipping, International orders are not eligible for return and considered FINAL SALE.
If you decide to refuse any shipments from Etiquette, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes, and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Etiquette. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.
We have the right to deny returns if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements. Exchanges are available for any other item of equal or greater value. If you have any questions regarding your order, please contact our Customer Care Team prior to placing your order.

Please make sure you will send your item(s) back to us within 14 days of receiving your order.
If a product was defective or a mistake was made on our behalf, a pre-paid return label will be sent by email. Otherwise please arrange your own mailing of your item(s) and email us the tracking number once expedited at firstname.lastname@example.org. Availability of requested replacement item(s) will be confirmed at this time as well. Once the return item(s) are received, you will be contacted by email with a confirmation of delivery for your replacement item(s) or credit in form of an Etiquette Credit coupon code.
Please note if the product has been used, box open, or hangtags & riders/packaging removed, the return will be disqualified, the product shipped back to you and you will be responsible for all further shipping and product charges. We cannot refund your original shipping charges unless there was an Etiquette Clothiers error involved such as a defective product or wrong item received. In these situations, you should contact customer care prior to returning your items (please have your order number available). Please note we you will be charged the cost of the return postage to our distribution center and the cost of shipping it back to you using the regular shipping rates related to your location. Remember that financial responsibility for the return is yours until it reaches us, so we recommend that you only use our postage labels and delivery service. Your return will also be subject to 25% "re-stocking fee" per item. Additional duties and taxes may apply.
We offer refunds only in the form of ETIQUETTE CREDIT unless there was an Etiquette Clothiers error involved, in which case refund will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card.

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us as soon as possible with details of the defect and we will do our best to resolve the situation swiftly. It is always helpful to take a picture of the damaged or defective item and emailing it along with your details at email@example.com
All of our Men's socks, underwear and home wear as well as Women's socks are made in Italy. Our Men's loungewear is made in Portugal. Our baby and kids socks are made in Turkey. All of our products are made to the Etiquette Clothiers highest quality standard.

To purchase a gift card, visit the Gift Card section - simply select the value you would like applied to the card, add the item to your bag and proceed through the checkout. Upon purchasing a gift card, you will receive an email containing a link to redeem, print or forward the gift card to a friend.
Gift cards can be used to purchase any item available at the Etiquette Clothiers online store. Simply shop around, select the item you're interested in and use your gift card to pay for it by entering the card number at the checkout.
No, we always keep track of the remaining card balance, so you can use it over multiple purchases.
Our Gift Cards expire after 12 months.
To make a purchase, simply select the items you would like to order and add them to your shopping bag. You can then proceed through the checkout process and make a secure online payment using your credit card (Amex, Visa, Master Card, Diners, JCB), debit card (iDEAL, Sofort, Mister Cash) or PayPal account. Once you have successfully placed your order, you will receive an automatic email confirmation.

In the Netherlands, by law we apply and collect sales tax on all orders shipping within the Netherlands. A VAT of 21% will apply to all our products. Our distribution centers are located in the United States, Netherlands and Japan. USA and Canada orders are fulfilled from our DC in New York and Vermont. All Global (ex-USA and Canada) orders are fulfilled from our DC in The Netherlands.
Our factories are located in Italy and Portugal for our Men's & Women's collections and Turkey for our Baby & Kids collections. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. The below terms and conditions apply to purchases of sock subscriptions from us. Our standard Terms and Conditions of sale also apply to such purchases, except to the extent they may be inconsistent with any of the terms and conditions below.
Order Process/Purchasing as a Gift
Gift Wrap is not available in the checkout – sock subscription orders will be gift wrapped as standard with signature silk paper and sticker. After you place your subscription order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. However, please note that your order is only accepted by us when we send you an e-mail that confirms dispatch and if you have ordered a subscription for someone else, a gift email will also be sent at the same time for you to pass on to the gift recipient.
Your subscription will start on the first working day of following month after your order is confirmed by us and this will be when the first pair of socks will be dispatched to you or your chosen gift subscription recipient. If an order is confirmed before the last working day of the month then we will dispatch the first pair on the first working day of the following month.
You may cancel your subscription within 15 days of receiving your first pair of socks or sock gift set, provided you return to us all products in their original condition. After this period has expired, you cannot cancel the subscription. You can find further details of our returns process and refund method in our Terms and Conditions of Returns. The recipient of the subscription will be the individual specified during the order process and the subscription is non-transferrable. You can notify us of a change of address by contacting Customer Service.
Unless you have exercised your right to cancel noted above, the subscription will expire after the twelfth pair of socks included in the subscription has been delivered to you. The subscription will not automatically renew.
Your sock subscription includes complimentary free shipping to your chosen address within 5-10 days. You may order other products with your sock subscription, but only one delivery address can be entered. We advise you to order your sock subscription separately if you have items to send to multiple addresses.
All socks are specially selected by Etiquette and some styles may vary based on availability. Sock styles in featured pictures may differ and a close replacement in the same yarn category may be selected by Etiquette. Contact Customer Service for more information.
